Botfly

Botfly was a Middleweight robot built by Team Maggot that competed at RoboGames 2005, and 2007, as well as ROBOLympics 2004. It was a four wheeled, red, and gray, invertible robot armed with a Pneumatic flipping arm. Botfly did very well in competition, never failing to make the quarterfinals in each event it competed in.

The team that built Botfly also built BattleBots competitor Maggot however it was much less successful than Botfly.

ROBOLympics 2004[]

Botfly's first match was against Who's Your Daddy. It won this match, and advanced to the next round where it faced Whirlwind. It lost this match, and was now in the loser's bracket where it faced Tuka The Cat. It won this fight, likely by KO, and advanced to the next round where it fought Krushinator. It won this fight as well, and faced Stewie. It won this match, putting it in the quarterfinals where it faced Bad Attitude. It won this, and was now in the second quarterfinal against Another Boring Wedge. It lost this match, and was eliminated from the tournament.
