RoboGames History[]
RoboGames 2008[]
Buzz Killingtons first fight was against the horizontal spinner of The Joke. As soon as the fight started both robots spun up, The Joke then made contact on Buzz Killington with its spinning blade sending the latter spinning away. The Joke then delivered another hit to Buzz Killington, which then delivered a hit of its own.
This attack flipped The Joke, who promptly self righted due to gyroscopic forces. After this The Joke delivered another strong blow to Buzz Killington, sending it crashing against the arena wall. Buzz Killington then got three hits in on The Joke, flipping it on the third attack.
However once The Joke self righted it delivered another strong blow to its opponent that sent both bots flying. This attack disabled Buzz Killington causing it to promptly tap out.
This loss meant Buzz Killington was now in the losers bracket against another Team Misfit robot Atom Bomb. As soon as this fight started Buzz Killington attempted to get its flywheel into play. However Atom Bomb struck first, and managed to flip Buzz Killington multiple times with its drum.
Buzz Killington recovered, and got a shot on Atom Bombs side, each bot then drove around trying to position for a hit. Buzz Killington positioned itself first, and delivered a hit that sent Atom Bomb flying against the arena wall. Atom Bomb then struck back with a hit of its own, this attack disabled Buzz Killington and eliminated it from the competition.
Buzz Killington never made another RoboGames appearance as it was retired following this event.
