Chimera as it appeared for ROBOLympics 2004.
Chimera was a Lightweight robot built by California high school team AVHS Robotics that competed in ROBOLymics 2004. It was a two-wheeled wedge-shaped robot armed with a pneumatic flipping arm and a horizontal flywheel. Chimera performed decently in competition, both winning, and losing to battles. Chimera also competed in the original run of BattleBots where it did far worse, failing to win a single battle in all 3 seasons it competed in.

ROBOLympics 2004[]
Chimera's first fight in ROBOLympics 2004 was against The Big Bologna. Chimera won this fight, and advanced to the next round where it faced Whack!. It won this as well, and next faced Wipe Out #2. It lost this fight, and was now in the loser's bracket where it faced New Attitude. It lost this fight as well, and was eliminated from the competition.
