Double Rainbow Party as it appeared in 2011
Double Rainbow Party was a Heavyweight robot that competed at RoboGames 2011 & Combots Cup V. It was a red shell spinner with 8 teeth. Double Rainbow Party didnt preform well. Losing all four of its fights
Combots Cup V[]
Double Rainbow Party's first fight was against The Great Pumpkin. Great Pumpkin came out fast as Double Rainbow Party was getting up to speed. The Great Pumpkin stopped Double Rainbow Party from spinning. Double Rainbow Party appeared to have issues as it was spinning but not driving well. The Great Pumpkin continued to push Double Rainbow Party around until Double Rainbow Party's driver tapped out. The Great Pumpkin won by Tap Out, and Double Rainbow Party was shoved down into the losers bracket where it faced Ragin Scotsman.
Ragin' Scotsman was instantly on Double Rainbow Party shoving it into walls preventing Double Rainbow Party from spinning up. Within the first minute, Double Rainbow Party starting smoking up. Eventually something sparked from under Double Rainbow Party which hindered it even worse. Ragin' Scotsman continued pushing and ramming Double Rainbow Party until time ran out. The judges gave the obvious win to Ragin' Scotsman. This eliminated Double Rainbow Party from Combots V
RoboGames 2011[]
Double Rainbow Party's first fight of RoboGames 2011 was against Touro Maximus. This fight was rather uneventful, after a big initial contact that sent both bots flying into separate sections of the arena. Both bots were plagued with issues as Touro's drum wasnt functioning and Double Rainbow Party wasnt driving well. Although Double Rainbow Party inflicted several hits to Touro Maximus, Touro Maximus was the more aggressive and controlled and won the Judges Decision. This knocked Double Rainbow Party down into the loser's bracket where it faced Gruff.
Gruff came out with its rear wedge first and was able to push around Double Rainbow Party who was unable to mount an attack. Eventually Double Rainbow Party got stuck up against the wall which resulted in a time out. Once Double Rainbow Party was freed, it appeared to not be working, and Double Rainbow Party tapped out. Giving Gruff the win and eliminating Double Rainbow Party from RoboGames 2011
