Overview[]
Lynx is a Beetleweight robot built by Calvin Iba that competed at RoboGames 2023. Lynx entered RoboGames 2023 already having established itself as one of the most successful 3lbers of all time racking up a record of at the very least 87-10 and proceeded to carve a similar path of destruction through the 3lb division at RG23 to win the gold medal with a 5-0 record.
The robot is a traditional 4wd vertical spinner using an eggbeater and is painted orange on the weapon and wedge with a black colored top panel. Additionally sponsor stickers for Robot Power adorn the side armor which consists of unpainted UHMW. Lynx is invertible, using bunny ears to keep the weapon off the ground when upside down, however it needs to be upright to use said weapon, and will right itself typically by ramming into the wall or its opponent weapon first when inverted.
