Rogue Wave as seen at Robogames 2017
Overview[]
Rogue Wave is a Beetleweight 4WD drum spinner that uses the Fingertech Robotics Beater Bar as a weapon made by Team Tanto. It entered Robogames 2017 with its teammates; Tsunami and Maverick. It did the worst out of the three, picking up no wins and being eliminated early.

Rogue Wave vs Turbodog[]
The fight started with both bots spinning up and Turbodog throwing back Rogue Wave before Rogue Wave flipped Turbodog. Turbodog then self righted off of Rogue Wave and went to town on it and eventually flipped Rogue Wave. Rogue Wave couldn't self right and the win went to Turbodog.
Rogue Wave vs Captain Doom[]
The fight started with Rogue Wave Spinning up and flipping Captain Doom. Rogue Wave then tried to take it to Captain Doom, but suffered from drive issues. Captain Doom then used the rear wedge to pin Rogue Wave in the corner. Rogue Wave freed itself and righted Captain Doom. Captain Doom then rammed Rogue Wave into the wall and flipped it. Rogue Wave managed to self right and continue the fight. The rest of the fight was pretty even with Rogue Wave creating some sparks from Captain Doom's wedge and Captain Doom shoving Rogue Wave into the wall. The fight went to a judges decision where Captain Doom won.
