Outside RoboGames[]
SJ was originally built for BattleBots as SlamJob where it reached the round of 32 in Season 3.0, and the quarterfinals in Season 4.0, but lost its first fight in Season 5.0. After ROBOLympics 2004 SJ competed at the Steel Conflict hosted Southwest Division Championship which it won.
SJ then traveled to Canada to participate in the first War-Bots Xtreme event, winning that as well. SJ would repeat this by winning the second WBX event the following year.
