Scissorhands

Scissorhands was an Australian robot built by Team OverKill that competed in RoboGames 2008. It was a two-wheel drive robot, armed with a powerful undercutter bar. Scissorhands did very well in the competition, winning Silver in its debut appearance. Despite this success it did not return to RoboGames, and was ultimately retired around 2012 after doing well on the Australian circuit for years.

Trivia

• Scissorhands, along with Vendetta Jr. is one of the only two Australian robots to win a Silver medal at RoboGames.
• The team that built Scissorhands also built Mr Mangle. A bot that would go on to have huge success in the UK, and its native Australia.
