Shovelhead also entered Battle Beach I, where it did poorly, winning only two fights out of five.
After this it entered into the Steel Conflict hosted Triangle Series Nationals where it placed third, and Southwest Division Championships where it was the runner up. After that it made its final BattleBots appearance at the 2004 NPC Charity Open where it reached the semifinals. Shovelhead would ultimately retire with a 39-15 win/loss record.
