Son of Wacky Compass as it appeared for RoboGames 2007.
Son of Wacky Compass (often shortened to S.O. Wacky Compass, or simply Wacky Compass) was a Lightweight robot built by Team Hawg that competed in ROBOLympics 2004, as well as RoboGames 2006, and 2007. It was a gray, two-wheeled, invertible box shaped robot armed with a spinning bar that could get up to a speed of 3000 RPM. Son of Wacky Compass did really well in competition, winning the Gold Medal in 2006.
The team that built Son of Wacky Compass also built The Wacky Compass, which competed in Season 3.0 of BattleBots. However it was far less successful, only managing to win one fight before losing to Wedge of Doom. Despite still being quite successful at that point, Son of Wacky Compass retired after RoboGames 2007.

ROBOLympics 2004[]
Son of Wacky Compass's first ever fight was against Wobblygoblin. It won, and next faced Hexy Jr. In this fight Son of Wacky Compass did plenty of damage to Hexy Jr., however it was not enough, and it lost the match.[1] This put Son of Wacky Compass in the loser's bracket where it faced Rolling Blackout. It won this fight, and advanced to the next round where it faced Agsma. It lost this match, and was eliminated from the competition.
