Speed Bump as it appeared for ROBOLympics 2004.
Speed Bump was a Lightweight robot built by Team X-Bots that competed at ROBOLympics 2004. It was a robot with a curved body that was armed with a pneumatic sideways-facing lifting arm. It didn't do too well in competition, managing to win only one battle, but losing two. Team X-Bots would continue competing at RoboGames, and ComBots events for multiple more years, however Speed Bump never made another appearance.

Speed Bump's first match was against Rolling Blackout It won this match, and advanced to the next round where it faced Wedge of Doom It lost this match, and was now in the loser's bracket where it faced Wobblygoblin. It lost this match as well, and was eliminated from the competition.

Outside Of RoboGames/ComBots[]
Speed Bump was originally built for BattleBots where it did poorly, managing to win only 4 out of its nine fights throughout three seasons, and a charity event. After its ROBOLympics appearance it competed in the first War Bots Xtreme competition, where it did even worse.
