Star Hawk 3.0 was a SuperHeavyweight built by Team Moon that competed in RoboGames 2005, and ComBots Cup I. It was a four wheeled, Silver (later Silver, and Red) robot armed with a powerful vertical spinning flywheel. Although this weaponry was quite potent Star Hawk had one glaring flaw, it lacked a self righting mechanism. This cost it and the robot performed only decently. Star Hawk 3.0 was retired after 2006, and Team Moon would call it quits in 2011 after retiring their final robot, Death & Taxes.

It then entered the Steel Conflict hosted Southwest Division Championships where it lost 2 matches and won 1. After this it entered into the BattleBots hosted NPC Charity Open where it won one battle, and lost two. This version of Star Hawk's last event was in Mechwars 9, where it won 2 matches and lost 1, after RoboGames 2005 Star Hawk 3.0 entered Battle Beach 3 where it won both of its fights, it then entered Mechwars 10 where it placed second before retiring in 2006.
