SyntaxError(); is a Lightweight robos that has competed since RoboGames 2016. It was originally a black, and red, four-wheeled box-wedge shaped robot with no active weapons. This version did well in competition, winning the Bronze on its first appearance.
After this it was redesigned into a silver, four-wheeled, box-shaped robot armed with a vertical spinning bar for RoboGames 2017. However this version performed poorly, losing both of its matches by knockout.

After recieving a bye in the first round, the brand new version of SyntaxError();'s first ever match was against rivals Federal M.T. This match started with both bots spinning up to speed, Federal M.T then started grinding against the side of SyntaxError(); with its flywheel. This caused one half of SyntaxError();'s drive to fail, and it tapped out.
This meant that SyntaxError(); was now in the loser's bracket where it faced masSACre Lite, this match started with masSACre Lite spinning up, and ripping one of the front wedges off of SyntaxError(); almost immediately as SyntaxError(); was unable to spin up. masSACre Lite then launched a side-on attack on SyntaxError();, flipping it before attacking, and destroying the weapon motor of SyntaxError();. SyntaxError(); then tapped out, meaning that the former Bronze Medalists were eliminated from the competition.
