Tremor was a Lightweight robot from Canada that competed in RoboGames 2017. It was a two-wheeled, invertible, silver, white, and blue, box-shaped robot with two pontoon wedges at the front, and no active weapons.
Tremor did poorly in competition, losing both of its matches, and it was retired and sold on Ebay to Bots FC after the event. Virtually unchanged, it was then entered into RoboGames 2018 as a part of the 5-part multibot Cluster Flock.
Robot History[]
RoboGames 2017[]
Tremor's first fight was against Wanna Go?, this match started with Wanna Go spinning up to speed, and rushing Tremor, sending it flying. This hit caused Tremor to stop working, and Wanna Go? hit Tremor again before performing a Victory Dance as Tremor was counted out.
This put Tremor in the loser's bracket where after recieving a bye, it faced Son of Spam, this match started with Son of Spam and Tremor positioning. However a driving error put Son of Spam onto Tremor's wedge prongs, but Tremor was unable to take advantage of this as Son of Spam quickly escaped.
Son of Spam then drove onto Tremors wedge again, this time from the front, and started using its superior torque to shove Tremor around before backing off, and getting under Tremor. Whilst trying to escape Son of Spam, Tremor then spun away, into the arena wall.
Son of Spam then lined up for a shot on Tremor but missed, and hit the wall, but recovered, got under Tremor once more, and slammed it against the wall. Both robots then locked wedges for a while before Son of Spam repeatedly slammed Tremor into the wall yet again. The robots then slammed into each other as the time ran out, with the Twitch.tv chat posting Spam in the chat.
Unsurprisingly not only did Son of Spam win the resulting judges decision, but it also became a newly minted crowd favorite, becoming one of the few pure wedges to do so. This of course also meant that Tremor was eliminated from the competition without winning a single fight.

Outside RoboGames[]
The first version of Tremor competed at the Canadian event WBX-3 where it had a design similar to Robot Wars competitor Micro Mute. However it was just as unsuccessful there as well, going 0-2, and retiring until this version competed in RoboGames 2017.
