Tuka The Cat

Tuka The Cat

Tuka The Cat was a Middleweight built by Project Genesis that competed in ROBOLympics 2004, and RoboGames 2005. It was a Black, two wheeled robot armed with a lifting wedge. Tuka The Cat did not do well in RoboGames, winning only two fights while losing four. Tuka The Cat, and the team behind it retired from the sport completely after RoboGames 2005.

Robot History[]

ROBOLympics 2004[]

Tuka The Cat's first fight was against Team Nightmare's vertical spinning flywheel, and former multibot component, Locust. Tuka lost this fight and was next up against the flipper of Botfly. It lost this fight as well and was eliminated from ROBOLympics 2004.

RoboGames 2005[]

Tuka The Cat's first fight was against the vertical bar spinner of Terminal Velocity. Tuka won this fight, and was next up against Pirinah 2 it won this fight as well and was drawn up against Angry Asp. Tuka The Cat was no match for Matt Maxham's driving skill however, and lost this fight meaning it was now in the losers bracket against Max Wedge.

This was yet another bad matchup for Tuka The Cat, which lost, and was eliminated from RoboGames 2005. Project genesis retired from Robot Combat after this event, and Tuka The Cat along with them, meaning Tuka had fought its last battle.
