Voodoo Child was a Junior Middleweight robot built by Team Tension that competed in ROBOLympics 2004, and RoboGames 2005. No pictures of this robot are known to exist, however it is known that it was a magmoter powered vertical spinner with a wedge at the rear.[1]Voodoo Child did not do well in competition, losing most of its fights, however it did manage to take the Silver Medal in 2005, despite this it did not return the following year.

ROBOLympics 2004[]
Voodoo Child's first match was against Jimmy. It lost this fight, and was now up against The Mortician. It lost this as well, however since the Junior Middleweight class was in the round robin format it was not eliminated, and faced Mow Blow next. It lost this fight as well as the next one against Dolor, before fighting against Mean Green Fight'n Machine. It won this match, however it did not really matter, as Voodoo Child had lost too many matches in the round robin, and did not even place.
RoboGames 2005[]
Voodoo Child's first match in the round robin was a rematch against Dolor. This time Voodoo Child won, and next faced Iranian robot Phoenix I. It won this fight as well, and next faced The Mortician again. It lost this fight, and took home the Junior Middleweight Silver Medal.
